Softball Recap: Vasquez Comes Up Short

Vasquez saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 13-1 to the Torrance Tartars. The matchup marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Vasquez and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Torrance, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Vasquez wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 12-2 loss against Burroughs on the 23rd. As for Torrance, they have also already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Beckman on the 21st.
