 Moorpark is 8-2 against Oak Park since April of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Moorpark Musketeers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Oak Park Eagles at 3:30  p.m. Moorpark will be strutting in after a  victory while Oak Park will be coming in after a  defeat.
 Last Tuesday, Moorpark beat Sierra Canyon 5-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Moorpark.
  Madison Finnerty spent all seven innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on three hits and racked up 15 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Shae Anderson, who  went 4-for-4 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and a  double.
 Meanwhile,  after soaring to 22  runs the game before, Oak Park was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Monday. They fell  5-2 to Simi Valley.
 Oak Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cameron McGugan, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 The  win  got Moorpark back to even at 7-7. As for Oak Park, they now  have a losing record at 8-9.
