Soccer Recap: Christian Academy Takes a Loss

If Christian Academy was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Dillon Christian last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Christian Academy Saints fell just short of the Socastee Braves by a score of 2-1 on Friday.

Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Socastee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Christian Academy will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Conway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Socastee, they will challenge Nation Ford at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Socastee is on a three-game streak of home wins, Nation Ford a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
