Baseball Game Preview: Queen Anne's County Lions vs. Parkside Rams

The Queen Anne's County Lions will head out to challenge the Parkside Rams at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Queen Anne's County is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

Queen Anne's County came out on top against Easton on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Lions walked away with an 11-8 victory over the Warriors.

The team relied heavily on Travis Sutch, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Chance Hegedus, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Queen Anne's County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .441. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Parkside didn't have quite enough to beat Snow Hill on Tuesday and fell 6-5. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Queen Anne's County pushed their record up to 8-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Parkside, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
