Basketball Game Preview: West Point-Beemer Cadets vs. Howells-Dodge Jaguars

Having just played yesterday, the West Point-Beemer Cadets will jump right back in to play the Howells-Dodge Jaguars at 7:45 p.m. on Saturday. West Point-Beemer will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

West Point-Beemer saw some tournament action on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-43 win over Bancroft-Rosalie.

Pender typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Howells-Dodge proved too difficult a challenge. They secured a 47-42 W over the Pendragons. The victory was nothing new for the Jaguars as they're now sitting on five straight.

Howells-Dodge's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for West Point-Beemer, their victory bumped their record up to 15-4.

West Point-Beemer didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Howells-Dodge in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 59-54 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for West Point-Beemer since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
