Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger has won eight straight games at home, while Fort Wayne Snider has won eight straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much  on Tuesday. The Saints will host the Panthers  at 5:30  p.m. The two teams have allowed few  runs on average (Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger 3, Fort Wayne Snider 3) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Saturday's  struggle, when South Bend Saint Joseph hitters got past them. The Saints lost  13-6 to the Huskies on Saturday. The Saints haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
  KC Pieper and  Houston Ellinger stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Pieper  went 2-for-4 with three  RBI, while  Ellinger  went 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and one  run.  Paul Baumgartner was another key player,  going 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases and one  run.
Meanwhile, Fort Wayne Snider gave up the first  runs on Monday, but they didn't let that get them  down. Everything went their way against New Haven as they made off with  a  15-5 win. Considering the Panthers have won 12 matchups by more than five  runs this season, Monday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Landen Fry, who  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  triple. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Noah Hess, who  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
 Fort Wayne Snider was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .455. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a  batting average of .310 or higher in four consecutive  contests.
 Fort Wayne Snider has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, their loss dropped their record down to 19-5.
Tuesday's   match might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger has hit smart this season,  having  averaged  an OBP of .458. However, it's not like Fort Wayne Snider struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .495. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
