Luther comes up short despite Tristan Elcock's strong performance

Recap: Luther Cougars vs. Knox Falcons
The Luther Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight defeat. The contest between them and Knox wasn't particularly close, with Luther falling 90-73. The final score was a far cry from the score of their previous head-to-head, which saw the teams combine for two points.
When it comes to explaining why Luther lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tristan Elcock. Despite the final result, he scored 22 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Elcock is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Everette Mckeller, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Luther's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Knox, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
Luther will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Knox does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
