Basketball Game Preview: Norwich Purple Tornado vs. Maine-Endwell Spartans

The Norwich Purple Tornado will head out on the road to face off against the Maine-Endwell Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Norwich's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.

Norwich is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Windsor Central 68-46. The Purple Tornado haven't had any issues with the Black Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Maine-Endwell). They enjoyed a cozy 91-77 win over Chenango Valley on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Spartans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Maine-Endwell's victory bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Norwich, their win bumped their record up to 12-4.
