Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Prout

Prout waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 80-61 victory over the Achievement First Providence Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 82-74 back in January.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Prout to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lawson O'Hearn, who almost dropped a triple-double with 15 points, nine rebounds, and ten assists. The match was O'Hearn's ninth in a row with at least 15 points. Charlie Horne was another key player, putting up 23 points.

Prout's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Achievement First Providence, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Prout didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 98-76 loss against Times Squared Academy on the 12th. Achievement First Providence has also already played their next match (against Blackstone Valley Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
