Recap: Obion County Rebels vs. Central Rebels
After flying high against Peabody last Monday, Obion County came back down to earth. The Obion County Rebels took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central Rebels on Saturday.
For Central's part, Kaydence Cosby was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelsie Politte, who went 1-for-3 with a home run, two additional RBI, and an additional run.
Obion County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Central, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Obion County will be playing at home against South Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Central, they will head out on the road to challenge Valle Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
