Basketball Game Preview: United Christian Academy Eagles vs. New Life Academy Eagles

The United Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the New Life Academy Eagles at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. United Christian Academy will be strutting in after a victory while New Life Academy will be coming in after a loss.

New Life Academy is hoping to do what Kingsland couldn't on Monday: put an end to United Christian Academy's winning streak, which now stands at three games. Everything went United Christian Academy's way against Kingsland as United Christian Academy made off with a 53-27 win.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-44, which was the final score in New Life Academy's tilt against St. Croix Lutheran on Thursday. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for New Life Academy and nudges their season record down to 4-3. As for United Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything came up roses for United Christian Academy against New Life Academy in their previous matchup back in March of 2023, as the team secured a 60-21 win.
