Basketball Recap: Skyline Comes Up Short

If Skyline was riding high fresh off their 74-36 takedown of Oakland Military Institute last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Skyline Titans lost 50-24 to the McClymonds Warriors on Wednesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-40 back in January.

Skyline has also been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-23 record this season. As for McClymonds, their victory bumped their record up to 9-15.

Skyline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McClymonds, they will head out on the road to square off against Envision Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Envision Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last ten matches.
