Basketball Recap: Cherokee Takes a Loss

Cherokee and Abbott squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Cherokee had to settle for second. They took a 38-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Abbott Panthers. The Indians have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Abbott, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Cherokee nor Abbott have any future games scheduled.
