Softball Game Preview: Piggott Mohawks vs. Corning Bobcats

Piggott hasn't had much luck against Corning recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Piggott Mohawks will be playing at home against the Corning Bobcats at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Piggott lost 15-3 to Rector on Thursday. The Mohawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Corning was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 11-8 to Maynard. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 5, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Piggott's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Corning, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.
