Softball Recap: Genesee Valley's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Genesee Valley entered their tilt with Honeoye on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by nine runs or more this season.

Genesee Valley pushed their record up to 17-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Honeoye, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Looking ahead, Genesee Valley will square off against Cuba-Rushford at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rebels have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. Honeoye does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
