St. Xavier came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with 26 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oldham County Colonels.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: St. Xavier took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-5, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Xavier to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dalton Lutes, who had ten digs and three aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Josh Walsh, who had four digs and two aces.

St. Xavier's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-1. As for Oldham County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-8-1.

Coming up, St. Xavier will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Trinity at 11:00 a.m. Oldham County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
