Softball Recap: Mcleod Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

McLeod waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Paris Wildcats 14-4. Considering the Longhorns have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

McLeod's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Paris, they are on a 25-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Looking ahead, McLeod will head out to square off against New Boston at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. McLeod's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so New Boston's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Paris, they will be taking part in a tournament against Atlanta at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Paris has given up an average of 20.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
