Basketball Recap: Cherokee Comes Up Short

Cherokee was the 51-40 winner over Lenape when they last played one another back in March of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Chiefs fell just short of the Indians by a score of 46-44 on Tuesday.

Cherokee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Lenape, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Cherokee is taking a road trip to face off against Cherry Hill East at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lenape, they will venture away from home to challenge Gloucester Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
