Basketball Recap: Lakota Tech Wins Going Away Against Wall

After losing to Wall the last time they met, Lakota Tech decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The stars were shining brightly for the Lakota Tech Tatanka in a 56-41 victory over the Wall Eagles on Saturday.

Despite the loss, Wall saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Allie Kjerstad posted ten points and three steals. Those ten points set a new season-high mark for Kjerstad.

Lakota Tech now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Wall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Lakota Tech will venture away from home to take on Mobridge-Pollock at 1:00 p.m. on December 30th. Mobridge-Pollock will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Lakota Tech surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wall, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Chamberlain at 4:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
