Softball Recap: San Dimas Comes Up Short

San Dimas came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Charter Oak Chargers, falling 9-2. The Saints have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost meeting.

Maya Medina was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run.

San Dimas' loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Charter Oak, they pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season.

San Dimas and Charter Oak will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time San Dimas sees the field they'll take on Colony at 3:30 p.m. on April 9. As for Charter Oak, their break will end when they face Rowland at 3:30 p.m. on April 8.
