League recap: Wilson Area scores huge upset over Saucon Valley

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Wilson Area, who took down 350th ranked Saucon Valley, 40-34. Ryan Dailey threw for 323 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 52 yards in the win.

The Warriors moved up to 418 from 454 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Colonial. Wilson Area was able to make move up by topping the Panthers 40-34.

Zack Bogoly was the best wideout in the league this week as Stephen Shiffert's team bested Saucon Valley. Bogoly racked up 13 receptions for 235 yards. Trey Robinson helped Wilson Area's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 63 yards.

Nick Savant was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 32 carries, he ran for 243 yards as Matt Evancho's team defeated Matt Evancho's team. Chris Mamay also contributed to the rushing game with 102 yards on the ground.

Wilson Area's Dailey and Bogoly have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Colonial in both passing and receiving yards. Dailey has thrown for 1687 yards this season, while Bogoly, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 55 catches for 1127 yards. Philip Vass from Bangor leads the league in rushing with 1525 yards.

The Warriors' Robinson is a mere 33 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 158 carries Robinson has accumulated 967 yard this year.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Pen Argyl takes on the Slaters. At the moment, the Green Knights are in second, while Bangor is in third.

There should be lots of points scored when Pen Argyl and Frank Scagliotta's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, Paul Reduzzi's team comes in having scored 243 this season, while the Slaters have scored 271. The Green Knights scored 35 points last week as they beat Palmerton.

Catasauqua extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Northern Lehigh, 40-7. This was the team's ninth consecutive win.
