Basketball Game Preview: Terra Nova Tigers vs. Sequoia Ravens

The Terra Nova Tigers will challenge the Sequoia Ravens at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Terra Nova is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Los Altos just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Sequoia ended up a good deal behind Priory on Saturday and lost 71-53. While losing is never fun, the Ravens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 571st, while the Panthers are ranked 271st).

Terra Nova's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Sequoia, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

Terra Nova didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Sequoia when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 61-57 victory. Will Terra Nova repeat their success, or does Sequoia have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
