Jayzon Parnell turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with seven or more strikeouts. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.80 over 10 innings pitched.
