Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Loss Ends Overton's Winning Streak

Overton was the 2-1 winner over Shelton when they last played one another back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs on Tuesday. Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bulldogs since Tuesday.

Overton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-23.

Daisy Ryan paced Overton's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ryan got some help from Kyla Elfgren and her 15 assists.
