Villanova hero led Gonzaga to undefeated WCAC regular season as senior.

Kris Jenkins authored what will go down as one of the signature moments in national championship game history Monday night by knocking down a game-winning 3-pointer as time expired for Villanova.

The shot gave the Wildcats a 77-74 win over North Carolina and fans a moment they will never forget.

Jenkins finished with 14 points - just a tad over his season average of 13.6.

As a senior at Gonzaga (Washington, D.C.) back in 2012-13, Jenkins averaged 18.3 points and 10.3 rebounds per game while leading the Purple Eagles to a rare unbeaten regular season in the rugged Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. He earned Washington Post All-Met Player of the Year honors for his efforts.
