Soccer Recap: Livermore Takes a Loss

Livermore lost against Richmond back in February of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Livermore Cowboys fell 2-0 to the Richmond Oilers. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 515th, while the Oilers are ranked 151st).

Livermore now has a losing record at 5-6-2. As for Richmond, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2-4.

Livermore wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-2 defeat against Dougherty Valley on the 21st. As for Richmond, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Albany on the 22nd.
