Recap: Cross Keys Indians vs. Atlanta Girls' School Hurricanes

Cross Keys had to suffer through a rough 53-17 loss at the hands of Atlanta Girls' School. Cross Keys was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-7.
Atlanta Girls' School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Isabel Sanderson, who scored 21 points. The game was Sanderson's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Libby Knott was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with 7 assists and 5 rebounds.
The last time Cross Keys won on the road was back back in November. Having now lost three straight away contests, they've bumped their record down to 1-6. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 16.0 points per game. As for Atlanta Girls' School, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.
Cross Keys will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwest Atlanta Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Atlanta Girls' School, they will head out on the road to face off against Walker at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
