Camden McFadden made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (two).
In other pitching news, Tyler Johnson looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because Palm Beach Central is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 1-2 otherwise.
Back at the plate, Luis Sousa was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Jabari Seguignol was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
Palm Beach Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
