Baseball Recap: Gladstone Comes Up Short

After flying high against Crook County on Friday, Gladstone came back down to earth. The Gladiators lost 11-1 to the Scappoose Indians on Monday. The Gladiators were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Indians apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2017.

Gladstone's loss dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Scappoose, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Gladstone does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Scappoose, they will take on Ida B. Wells at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
