Soccer Recap: Upland Wins Going Away Against Claremont

Upland kept a clean sheet against Claremont on Monday. They blew past the Claremont Wolfpack 3-0. This was payback for the Highlanders/Scots, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

They hit Claremont with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ricardo Maldonado, Zabdiel Sanchez, and Maddux Lozano.

Upland now has a winning record of 2-1-1. As for Claremont, they now have a losing record at 1-2-1.

Upland will be home for the holidays to greet Garey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Upland is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season. Claremont and Walnut will compete for holiday cheer at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Walnut also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 3.3 goals per game.
