Basketball Recap: Bonanza Takes a Loss

Bonanza lost against Basic back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Bonanza Bengals took a 59-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Basic Wolves. The Bengals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Basic can attribute much of their success to Kelani Stafford, who went 8 of 12 on his way to 17 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Hunter McGory, who posted seven points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Bonanza's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Basic, their record is now 11-13.

As of now, neither Bonanza nor Basic have any future games scheduled.
