Volleyball Recap: Goodman-Pembine Comes Up Short

Goodman-Pembine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the Florence Bobcats. If the Falcons were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Bobcats when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-10.

Among those leading the charge was Sami Demuri, who had 14 assists.

Goodman-Pembine's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Florence, their victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-3.

Coincidentally, Goodman-Pembine and Florence will both be playing Phelps the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will host the Knights at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
