Basketball Game Preview: Greenbrier Wolfpack vs. Brunswick Pirates + How To Watch

The Greenbrier Wolfpack will head out to take on the Brunswick Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Greenbrier has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with six straight losses, while Brunswick will come in with five straight victories.

On Saturday, Greenbrier ended up a good deal behind Grovetown and lost 59-44. The Wolfpack were down 43-22 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Jayla Ayler, who posted 18 points and three steals. Ayler is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Emily McMurray was another key player, putting up 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Brunswick slipped by Camden County 54-53 on Tuesday.

Brunswick's win bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Greenbrier, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Greenbrier came up short against Brunswick when the teams last played back in February, falling 55-44. Can the Wolfpack avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
