Basketball Recap: Griffin School Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Griffin School Griffins were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to the Idea Pflugerville Wizards. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Idea Pflugerville was led to victory by Daniel Osorio and Kabari Mitchell. Osorio posted 24 points, while Mitchell scored 16 points. Mitchell's evening made it 12 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Griffin School now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Idea Pflugerville, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Griffin School has already played their next contest (against Austin Waldorf), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Idea Pflugerville is taking a road trip to challenge Valor North Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Idea Pflugerville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.2 points per game this season.
