            For the first time this season, Liberty Magnet will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup  on Tuesday. They will look to defend their home field  against the St. Joseph's Academy Redstickers  at 4:00  p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Liberty Magnet came up short against  False River on Friday, falling  29-19. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Miracle Sanders led a balanced group of hitters,  scoring two  runs and  stealing  Four bases. while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Nitza Matute-Quintana, who  scored three  runs and  stole  Three bases. while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, St. Joseph's Academy scored first but ultimately less than Central Private in their  matchup on Thursday. They lost  15-5 to the Redhawks.
  Kenley Massett was cooking despite her team's loss,   scoring three  runs while going 3-for-4. Those  three  runs gave  her a new career-high.  Ava Norris also deserves some recognition as  she  scored her first  run of the season.
 St. Joseph's Academy has  been struggling recently as they've  lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record  this season. Liberty Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Liberty Magnet's speedy runners might be the difference in Tuesday's   game. Liberty Magnet has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 11  stolen bases per game.
