Soccer Game Preview: Denver South vs. Denver North

A classic North v. South matchup is on the schedule. The Denver South Ravens will be playing at home against the Denver North Vikings at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Denver North will be up against a hot Denver South team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. The Ravens' defense stepped up to hand Thomas Jefferson a 5-0 shutout on Wednesday. With that victory, Denver South brought their scoring average up to 2.8 goals per game.

They hit Thomas Jefferson with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Addison Orr (2), Sevia Cantrell, Maya Davis, and Haley Main.

Meanwhile, Denver North had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday.
