Basketball Recap: Wethersfield Takes a Loss

Wethersfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Annawan Braves/Bravettes 80-50. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves/Bravettes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-49 back in November of 2025.

Wethersfield's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Annawan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Wethersfield will challenge rival Abingdon/Avon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Annawan is set to square off against their familiar foe Biggsville West Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
