Voorheesville got themselves on the board against Hoosic Valley on Thursday, but Hoosic Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Hawks with a sharp 10-0 win. The Blackbirds not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since April 20, 2024.

Voorheesville now has a winning record of 1-0-1. As for Hoosic Valley, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, Voorheesville will head out on the road to challenge Lansingburgh at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Blackbirds' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hoosic Valley, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 5-4 victory against Mechanicville on the 11th.
