Soccer Recap: Mount Vernon Comes Up Short

Mount Vernon was the 4-2 winner over West Potomac when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Mount Vernon Majors fell just short of the West Potomac Wolverines by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Majors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mount Vernon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for West Potomac, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Vernon will face off against McLean at 7:15 p.m. on March 27th. As for West Potomac, they will take on Lewis at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
