Basketball Recap: New Jerusalem Christian Academy Piles Up the Points Against Providence Christian

New Jerusalem Christian Academy won the last time they faced Providence Christian and things went their way on Friday too. The Eagles claimed a resounding 59-22 victory over the Knights. The Eagles pushed the score to 43-16 by the end of the third, a deficit the Knights had little chance of recovering from.

Among those leading the charge was Elijah Marcellus, who went 7-for-12 to rack up 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Reid, who posted nine points and four steals.

New Jerusalem Christian Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. New Jerusalem Christian Academy will take on Community Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Providence Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Ruskin Christian at 6:15 p.m. on the 18th.
