Hoehne came into Friday's game looking for another win against Swink, but Jocelynn James wouldn't allow it. The Lions walked away with a 41-31 victory over the Farmers on Friday with plenty of help from James, who posted 21 points. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 15.5 points per game.

Paisley San Roman and Isabella Chacon certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. San Roman earned eight points and nine rebounds, while Chacon put up ten points and six boards. Jackie Rogers also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

The win got Swink back to even at 2-2. As for Hoehne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Swink has already played their next matchup, a 60-25 victory against Vail Mountain on the 13th. As for Hoehne, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 40-33 loss against Fowler on the 13th.
