Center Place entered their tilt with Heartland on Friday with ten consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 11. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mustangs. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win on October 2nd.

Center Place easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-20.

Center Place's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Hadlee Hakes led the charge by getting six kills and four digs. Another player making a difference was Heidi Lidberg, who had three digs and two aces.

Center Place's victory bumped their record up to 30-2-2. As for Heartland, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-24 record this season.

Center Place didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Plaza Heights Christian Academy on the 24th. Heartland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
