The Santiam Christian Eagles will take on the Jefferson Lions in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Santiam Christian will be strutting in after a win while Jefferson will be coming in after a defeat.

Santiam Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Willamina 84-28 on Wednesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Meanwhile, Jefferson didn't have quite enough to beat Blanchet Catholic on Wednesday and fell 49-46.

Jefferson now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Santiam Christian, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.
