Volleyball Recap: Richmond Hill Wildcats vs. McIntosh Chiefs
Richmond Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McIntosh Chiefs.
After all that action, the final score was 25-17, 25-21.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Grace Duffie, who had eight digs and 11 assists. Duffie is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted nine or more in the last three games she's played.
McIntosh can attribute much of their success to Ava Flores, who had six digs and ten assists.
Richmond Hill's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for McIntosh, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
Richmond Hill will take on Savannah Arts Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Richmond Hill will be looking to keep their 11-game home win streak alive. As for McIntosh, they are on the road again on Saturday to play North Oconee at 3:30 p.m.
