Basketball Recap: Wallington Takes a Loss

Wallington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 64-35 defeat at the hands of the Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology Lions. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 423rd, while the Lions are ranked 143rd).

Wallington's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology, their win bumped their record up to 10-8.

Wallington will venture away from home to face off against St. Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in St. Mary's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. Paterson Charter School for Science and Technology has already played their next match (against Waldwick), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
