Central Academy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Forest Hills recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Cougars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Central Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Central Academy is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering West Stanly just ended the team's three-game winning streak two weeks ago. They fell 7-2 to the Colts.

Ella Storey made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Forest Hills scored first but ultimately less than Charlotte Country Day School in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Buccaneers, falling 15-3. The Yellow Jackets have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Maggie Weber was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run. Another player making a difference was Bailey Underwood, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with three stolen bases and one run.

Central Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Forest Hills, their loss dropped their record down to 2-18.

Forest Hills' hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Central Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Forest Hills, though, as they've been averaging only 1.2 strikeouts. Will Central Academy keep running through batters, or will the Yellow Jackets buck the trend?
