Volleyball Recap: Manawa Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Manawa can now relate to. They came up short against the Crivitz Wolverines on Thursday, falling 3-0. If the Wolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-2 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in October of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Manawa was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Crivitz's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-18, 25-23.

Alayna Seeger paced Manawa's offense, picking up 11 kills. Seeger got some help from Katelyn Krueger and her 17 assists.

Among those leading the charge was Izzy Wesoloski, who had nine digs and two assists. That's the most assists she has posted over her last ten matchups.

Manawa now has a losing record of 16-17. As for Crivitz, their win bumped their record up to 21-10.

Manawa does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Crivitz, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wabeno/Laona on the 25th.
