Denver South beats Far Northeast W for their third straight win

The Denver South Ravens had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 35-7 victory over Far Northeast W at home. The result was nothing new for Denver South, who have now won four matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.

Denver South can attribute much of their success to Jr Felipe, who rushed for 63 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 132 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Alijah Landrum-hamilton did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 80 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Denver South is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season. As for Far Northeast W, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Denver South will head out on the road to face off against Thomas Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Thomas Jefferson is on a four-game streak of home wins, Denver South a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Far Northeast W will take on Vista PEAK Prep at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Vista PEAK Prep is ranked 104th, while Far Northeast W is ranked 112th).
