After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Peru, Wabash was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 40-38 victory over the Southwood Knights. The Apaches' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Noah Baldwin was his usual excellent self, rushing for 198 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Haiden Mcwhirt, who threw for 170 yards and a touchdown while completing 81.8% of his passes.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Wabash was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 211 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted was before the start of last season.
