Softball Game Preview: Woodcrest Christian Royals vs. Arrowhead Christian Eagles

For the second straight game, Woodcrest Christian will face off against Arrowhead Christian. The Royals will be playing at home against the Eagles at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Woodcrest Christian has given up an average of 7.4 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Woodcrest Christian is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to Arrowhead Christian.

For Arrowhead Christian's part, they let Jade Dabbs and Leila Mouri run wild. Dabbs went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and two doubles, while Mouri went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles Mouri has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Gracie Chavez, who scored two runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Arrowhead Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They are 7-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Arrowhead Christian's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-5. As for Woodcrest Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
